To clamp the halves together I glued two strips on each side. The red small clamps did a great job, but the gluing was so stressful I forgot to take pictures of the clamping. I used tape on the outside to pull the halves together evening out the pressure the clamps did on the inside. I'm happy with the results, the seam is nearly perfect only two small gaps on the inside near upper and lower blocks where I will put patches
This was an extremely difficult task. I admire restorers even more now!
